MINNEAPOLIS, MN - March 15, 2018 - The Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation is pleased to announce Cleveland Public School student Carter Kopet as a 2018 Scholar Athlete. Kopet and the other winners, chosen for academic excellence, leadership and community involvement, will be recognized at the 11th Annual Minnesota Football Honors on April 29 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
“Every day Carter Kopet demonstrates the dedication and desire needed to improve and to be his best,” Clippers coach Erik Hermanson said. “Carter is the type of leader who is always pushing himself and others to succeed and achieve beyond their perceived abilities. He is the standard by which all our future athletes and leaders in Cleveland will be judged.”
