Minnesota Football Honors Announces Scholar-Athlete Award Winners and Honorable Mention Selections

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Feb. 26, 2024 – The Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s eight Scholar-Athlete award winners and ten Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention selections.

“We are so excited to honor the outstanding accomplishments of our Scholar-Athlete award winners and Honorable Mention selections,” said Todd Fultz, President of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation. “These athletes shined in the classroom and served their communities in countless ways. It is incredible seeing the impact that young Minnesota High School football players are making on and off the playing field. We can’t wait to recognize and honor these achievements during this summer’s Minnesota Football Honors broadcast.”

The eight Scholar-Athlete award winners are set to be honored on April 14 during a private awards event at the Minnesota Vikings’ TCO Performance Center. The April event will be taped and broadcast during the Minnesota Football Honors television show, which is slated to air in August. 

Here is a list of this year’s eight Scholar-Athlete award winners:

Logan Kvarnlov: Warroad High School 

Tait (TJ) Christensen: Litchfield High School

Kolbe Severson: Crosby-Ironton High School 

Eli Hoelz: Brainerd High School 

August Adamsson: Concordia Academy

Riley Pearce: Two Rivers High School 

David Revering: Parkers Prairie High School 

Dylan Banks: Cannon Falls High School
