FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Aug. 28, 2023 – The Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation is proud to announce the second annual Minnesota Football Honors Super 6 Team: Jaxon Howard (Robbinsdale Cooper), Greg Johnson (Prior Lake), Jerome Williams (Osseo), Garrison Monroe (Shakopee), Carson Hansen (Lakeville South) and Alex Elliott (Hutchinson).

Each year, Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation board members vote for the six best Minnesota high school football players while using the following criteria: overall football talent, recruiting rankings and future athletic potential. The player must also participate in his senior football season to be eligible for the Super 6 Team.

“We are thrilled to honor players in our state who possess this type of high-level future athletic potential,” said Todd Fultz, President of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation.  “Many of our top high school players go on to represent our state at the college and NFL levels. The Minnesota Honors Super 6 Team identifies and spotlights athletes with that type of potential. This year’s Super 6 team is outstanding and we look forward to honoring all of the players during this year’s Minnesota Football Honors show.”
